Hotel Lesvion
Project description
Hotel Lesvion is located in the heart of the city of Mytilene. It has been operating since 1956, offering a comfortable accommodation of a high standard to those who visit the island of Lesvos. Gradually handing over the baton to the next generation, the younger members of the management, continuing with the same zeal, recognize the need for modern marketing that brings the business closer to the needs of the public. The reason they approached us was to design a new, modern website capable of highlighting in the best way the special features of the hotel (location, facilities, Greek breakfast) in order to increase direct bookings.
Our approach
Having fully understood the needs of the hotel, its goals and special features, we formulated proposals for wireframes that offer a pleasant navigation experience (UX Design). In order to achieve direct bookings, a section was formed that presents 5 reasons for direct booking. Examining the characteristics of the customers, we felt the need to create a section with activities that are within walking distance of the hotel. The UI Design incorporated transitions inspired by the location of the hotel (eg Church of Agios Therapontas) while it was designed in such a way as to highlight the high quality photographic material which we captured through professional photoshooting in the area. The website was developed with the Drupal 7 CMS.
