Sakis Batzalis Photography
Project description
Sakis Batzalis is a wedding - portrait photographer, with an international career and distinctions in Greece and abroad. For the past six years he has been teaching in many countries around the world and inspiring other photographers as he conveys his passion, love and knowledge of wedding photography in a uniquely authentic way. The international reputation that Sakis acquired created the need for the construction of a new website in order to highlight his photographic work and the workshops that take place in Greece and abroad.
Our approach
We have had several meetings with Sakis until we came up with an art form that harmonizes with his aesthetics. Our priority was a clean design that highlights the quality of the photographic material. The parallax scrolling mechanism offers a smooth transition from one section to another in the form of a slide. The user can, beside scrolling, go to the section he is interested in by clicking on the menu. For the photo portfolio, a custom photo gallery was created with different image styles for vertical and horizontal photos. The website was developed with the Drupal 7 CMS and has a Responsive Design.
